General Questions

What happens when I give money to Camden First Assembly?

When you give to Camden First Assembly, God does something amazing!

  • He multiplies your gifts and does more with it than any of us could ask or imagine.
  • Your tithe becomes part of God’s plan to resource the local church to do His work here on earth.
  • And He also allows you to be a part of all He is doing in your community and around the world through Local and Global Mission Partners.

Is Camden First Assembly a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization?

Camden First Assembly is a U.S. not-for-profit and meets the tax-exempt requirements of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Should I give to tithe or a specific area?

When you tithe, you’re trusting God with your finances.

  • Tithing is a biblical principal. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances.
  • In fact, it’s the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him.

God created you with a generous spirit. We want to help you embrace it by giving beyond your tithe with an offering to one of these causes.

  • Camden First Assembly has several local, national, and global offering lanes available for you to give to that would be above and beyond your normal tithe.

Ways to Give

What are the ways I can give?

There are many ways to give to Camden First Assembly.

  • Cash and checks can be given on Sundays.
  • Give digitally through credit or debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and your bank account.

What's the difference between recurring and one time gifts?

Recurring Giving

  • Recurring Giving is the tool we use to schedule your gifts to process on a regular basis.
  • When you set up a recurring gift through Camden First Assembly, you’re choosing to consistently invest in the life-change that happens here.
  • Recurring Giving Options:
    • Weekly
    • Bi-Weekly (every two weeks from start date)
    • 1st & 15th
    • Monthly

One-Time Gifts

  • A One-Time Gift is a single gift that only processes when you initiate or schedule it.
  • One-Time Gifts can be given immediately or scheduled for a future date but will only
How can I manage my recurring giving?

On the Camden First Assembly website:

  • Go to Church Center and log into your account.
  • Click Recurring Donations.
  • Click “Add Recurring Donation”
  • Recurring gifts will appear in the “Recurring Donations” section.

In the Church Center App:

  • Tap the Give tab at the bottom.
  • Tap “My Giving” at the top of your screen.
  • Recurring Donations will show up on your screen.

Update a Payment Methods

On the “My Giving” page:

  • Select the recurring gift.
  • Click “Payment Method”
  • Choose or add a new payment method at the top of your screen.
